flora is not me, but she is more or less the ideal version of myself. i might refer to her as myself sometimes.in this universe, monika doesn't have her awakening, and mc is a person of his own (and probably dating sayori/takes her route) (more on this later!). flora moved away from india and enrolled into the school with doki doki literature club. as an aspiring author, flora immediately joined the literature club, and was drawn to natsuki as someone with a more simplistic reading preference—romance novels.she is roommates with one of my general ocs sebastian since highschool, and as an adult exists in the same universe as my general ocs.

ivaan is very much not a self-insert, he's a seperate oc. he only exists in my harry potter universe.ivaan is a muggle who has lived in spinner's end his entire life. in 1981, he is a 22 years old single dad and primary school teacher.he had an accident child with his girlfriend of an year. they had a nasty breakup, and she revealed the fact that magic is real and she's a witch, that their little girl henna could very well inherit it, and threatened to erase his memories if he ever tried to find her again.
ivaan has since been terrified of the thought that any wizard could come by and take his memories and he wouldn't even know.severus had left spinner's end as soon as he could after coming of age. after halloween 1981, he moved back into his old house, both as a strategic choice to fool deatheaters into underestimating him and because it was simply cheaper when he'd be at his quarters in hogwarts most of the year anyway.ivaan kept running into severus around the town and recognized him from childhood, when he was always entangled with a red-haired girl until he stopped coming around at all. he made friendly conversation which severus awkwardly went along with until he mentioned he works at a boarding school (to explain why he's gone most of the year) and ivaan lit up from excitement because he's a teacher too!! (he actually likes his job tho unlike severus lol)
